We got stung by those years ago when we stayed on Great Cruz Bay. We saw a bunch at Lameshur a couple years ago too.

Shhhh, don't tell my wife. She will never get in the water if she knows those things are there.

Are they always around...or some seasons worst than others?

Yup, got stung by one on the lip in June at hawksnest. Saw it directly I front of me after the sting, about the size of a matchbox car. Although these are a type of box jelly, they are not the same ones that can kill you and don't get anywhere as big as those boxs in the pacific. The sting feels like a sharp burn that subsides after about 20 min.

Warm water brings them in......
