So happy for you Mary Beth! Love to be the bearer of good news! I just posted this over on the TA Grand Canyon forum- different argument entirely but I want to see people fighting this ridiculous overreach by the feds.

Also hope things get better at Gallows. Hope you got to double dip the welcome rum at least! :)

Awesome news, Agent 99! Our daughter and friend just got down yesterday, and we head down later this week. Furtively sneaking into beaches would have been quite a PITA, so we're very happy to hear that the beaches are open.

I gave my daughter a large sign with red letters to take down that read:

BEACH
FOR
YOU!

that she was to append just below the "NO" of the new "NO" sign, but I am more than happy that the prank is now irrelevant.

All the best,

Kevin

Really feel for those supposed to be at other parks. We have "made do" here and the inconvenience has been mild compared to others.

I am happy for residents and visitors that this has been corrected. We had a long convo Friday with the owner of Courtesy Car Rental about the negative financial impact this was having on business owners.

While this closure happened the last 3 days of our trip, we simply made the best of it by visiting Vies, Gibney and Jumbie.

Now, reading this statement, It really ticks me off that this "clarification" could have happened DAYS ago... Like while I was on island last week! Such a shame for everyone impacted.
