I plan on takin a small hand crank and solar powered radio, so question 1) carry on or Chk bag, 2) what are my radio station choices on STJOHNS....thanks

Can't help you with the radio stations on St Johns, but on St John there are a few but they always seem to be playing 1970's disco when I tune in so we use Pandora

Or you can get the app TuneIn and search for Virgin Islands. Brings up a bunch of stations. How well you can get them down there is another story.

I think a carry on works fine for a week to 10 days. You don't need many clothes!
We usually use i-pods or CD's for music so I have not really listened to the radio stations.
