Of course we will bring Deet spray, fogger, off coils, and I even picked up one of those new fangled personal repellant fans to try.
What would be one thing that is worth it's packing weight that you would bring for 3 nights of baresite camping at Cinnamon Bay after 7 nights at a villa? We are visiting in january. I also welcome suggestions for items to pick up on island.
Also, does Crabby's or anyone rent beach chairs?

As a side note, I have been scouring the web trying to find a reasonably priced large microfiber towel. I love my small one for camping but a larger one would be nice for this trip but I have a hard time justifying $35 for a camping towel.

Hmmm...well we did a baresite in June...so for me..it was a battery operated fan..along with tons of batteries..not sure how bad you would need one in January...I guess it all depends on the weather and how accustomed you are to sleeping without at least a fan..The next thing for me would be my pillow..we are campers here so we have small memory foam ones we use...and you can bet I took mine..along with my air mattress. However we stayed about 7 nights...so it was worth bringing it all down..we just checked a bag full of goodies along with a small tent, towels, bug spray etc....Hubby votes for air mattress..lol However you may already have these items planned to bring..this was just the first thing that popped in my head...Cinnamon rents chairs...I think..they are about 8 dollars a day...if I remember correctly...Im envious...wish we were going back to Cinnamon this time.. :|

St. John Hardware has Thermacell units and refills and I got the equivalent of The Jolt at Love City market in Coral Bay.

Baby powder to get the sand out of your toes after ya put your "toes in the sand" so the tent doesn't get too sandy. Have a great time!
