Yeah, the rumor is that the old owner of Woody's is involved and that it will be a beach-themed restaurant when it reopens. But that's only the rumor. I heard it from someone who was drinking heavily one night at High Tide, so I have no idea how much truth there is to it. :)

Next to my kiosk (I know you know where that is) - if your back was to Mooies it would be the tables on your left

Todd, the former owner of Woody's, has definitely has shown interest in
It but no paperwork has been finalized! And with the recent death of a lawyer on
Island, that just complicates things even more!

Cafe Livin' has always been on of my favorites for breakfast and lunch. They do some dinners in high season too. They are in front of High Tide in the courtyard. This year they installed a pergola that provides shade over their tables. Their food is fantastic. Bill has worked at some of the best fine dining on St. John before he bought this spot. Not fancy food... just really good food. You can taste the passion in every bite.

JJ's is one of the few places left since our first trip. Will miss their burritos, with chicken on the side :D

Jake's is a great alternative for breakfast - Lumbaryard area.

I'll have to give Cafe Livin' another shot next trip. It certainly didn't impress when they first opened.

Janet - you might have eaten there when Bill didn't own it as there was about a year when there were other owners

Give them a go - great food

I agree with Pia. Cafe Livin had the BEST breakfast sandwich and the price was right too.

I was just on the island last week....I couldn't find Cafe Livin...I don't know how I could have missed it. There was a Mexican place with tables. How did I go wrong?
