Amalie car change in owners?

Hi everyone!
We leave in less than two weeks for our first full trip to St John. We have reserved a jeep with Amalie car rental because of the amazing reviews. I read the other day on another forum that they have recently changed owners. Does anyone know if this is true? I emailed them two days ago shortly after I had heard to confirm my reservation but haven't received a response yet. I just want to make sure we don't have any issues ahead of time. Thanks!

We got here on Tuesday and met Amy, the new owner; she was very nice. She met us at the airport and while I went for our checked bag she took my husband a couple of blocks away to get the jeep. She told him that they were in the transition stage but the intends to keep it exactly as it has been. We had the jeep within minutes and were on our way. She also let us know that there are two full time people on STJ in case we have a problem. Our jeep only had 3600 miles on it and so far, we are very pleased.

When we arrived on June 12th. Amy also met us at the airport. She explained that she was the new owner of Amalie Rentals. Same as LynnieGirl said....good experience and excellent service all around !

Thanks ladies for making me feel better. Glad to hear the service is still great. Did they contact you before you left to find out flight info? I booked this so long ago, I don't remember if I gave them my flight info.

Thanks for the responses. It's good news that the transition seems to be going smoothly.
I'm also very happy to hear about the two full time people on St. John..... just in case.
