Not Ruth, but....

We tried the bug patches when we were down there. I think those darn bugs couldn't be deterred for anything at that point because of all the rain. However, we did think they helped quite a bit and I swear they helped with the itching, but who knows.

Ruth had plenty when we were down at the beginning of the month. 3.95 per pkg for 6 in a pack. Takes two hours to be effective and lasts for 36 hours if I remember right.

I've never heard of a bug patch... Is it something small that you wear to deter the skeeters?

We used the patches last December and found them pretty effective.

I tried them again in April, however, they helped but not as much. Perhaps it depends on the appetite of the 'skeeters.

Also, I don't particularly care for the odor. If you don't mind smelling like a flea collar, and they're working, I guess I could live with it.
