We always go grocery shopping on our first day to stock up on the essentials. We used to head right to Star Fish, but last time thought Pine Peace had much cheaper prices. The cases of water were half the price. Any other opinions?

We also usually head right to Starfish when we arrive. On our last trip, we ended up shopping at Starfish, Dolphin and Pine Peace over a 2 week period. We stopped in at St John Market and looked around - it was a nice store and we want to try their cooked meals on our next trip. Their food looked yummy.
In my opinion, it depends on how particular you are and what you are going to buy. Each store was different in terms of variety of items when we were there. If you can make do with whatever you can find, the smaller stores are fine and we found that some items are definitely less expensive.
Starfish seems more expensive than the others, although I didn't track prices of everything. It had the best selection of the things we normally buy, including some decent (and pricey!) fruits and veggies. We like the muffins and whole wheat bread from the bakery section, and we had great meals from their hot food section twice. We took them back to the villa for an easy meal while enjoying our deck and the view.
Dolphin is smaller, but has a lot of stuff in that store. They had a nice selection of fruits and veggies that looked fresh, and a fairly extensive selection of chocolate bars - a staple for us. Their meat and chicken selection was more limited than Starfish. The people working there were really nice and helpful when we stopped in to pick up a few items.
Pine Peace is small and crammed with lots of stuff when we were there. We were looking for 100% tropical fruit juices ((or close to 100%) because we make smoothies and other fruity drinks at the villa. The other stores only had fruit drinks (10% or less juice), not juice, so we stopped in at Pine Peace. We were able to get mango and passion fruit juice there. We got a case of water there, which was much less expensive than Starfish. I seem to recall this is where someone makes pies (guava, maybe?) and sells them at Pine Peace. We never got there early enough, but I hope to get one next trip. They are supposed to be excellent pies.
