Just checking. This is our first time to fly Delta out of Atlanta. We (us and Greyhound Mom) have polabear coolers (24 count). Has any one caried their coolers with Delta? Any problems?

We took our 12 can on board Friday with no problem.

Just did it out of Atlanta with Delta couple weeks ago. 24 will actually fit under your seat if needed.

Took my 24 can polar bear 3 weeks ago loaded with frozen meat, brought it back loaded with "stuff". Delta had no problems with it.

Brought mine filled to the rim on April 26- still have lots of that delicious food!!

So I guess the way to use these coolers is to fill it full of frozen meat and carry the cooler on? Let it go through x-ray and what about any issues with carry on weight limit? Not that anyone has ever weighed my carry on bag.

I guess you could check one as well up to 50lbs?

Don't know about Delta...but with USAir
Check bags....50 lbs. max.
Carry on bags....40 lbs. max

But we always take collapsible coolers filled with frozen food.

I am not aware of a weight limit on Delta. You have to be able to hoist it up to the OH compartment or stuff it under the seat. There is a size limit. I don't think you could distend a 24 can cooler enough to be over the size limit.

Thanks yall. No problem with it last year, but there are so many changes so I was kinda checking.
