OT - I'm So Sad

Today my mini-Bug went to her first Prom. Her BF is a Senior - she's a Sophomore. When she walked into the room after getting dressed, I almost fell over. Where did my baby go??? She looked so beautiful, almost woman-like. I managed to hold back the tears until after she left. I've been waiting her whole life for her to grow up, now I want my baby back! I can't believe how much it hurts to be a Mom
Here is a pic of my Mini-Bug and Mr. Bug right before she left and one of her and her BF:

MiniBug is absolutely gorgeous! I'm sure she has great genes!
My daughter is only 10, but I get glimpses of that grown up girl every now and then. (Like at her last hair cut, when the stylist curled her hair, which is very long and usually in a pony tail. She was instantly about 6 years older!) I get tears in my eyes every time. So I hear you, mom. You've done a great job raising a beautiful girl!

I'm right there with ya, bug. altho I can honestly say, I have never wanted my twins to grow up. they are also 16, and I cannot even think about the day the go off to college. I tear up when I hear certain songs on the radio that remind me of them.
You mini- bug is beautiful!!!

Oh, man, you're killin' me!
Happy Mother's Day Bug and all you other mothers. I look at my neices and nephews and feel a tiny bit of what you feel but I can't even imagine the full impact of it. They were babies five minutes ago. I have photos. Wasn't that just YESTERDAY?
This is the most imortant job you've ever had and it appears you've done just fine.
Your children should be very proud of you and Mr. Bug.
