Thursday
Thursday was for Salt Pond. Again up with the sunrise to do some work. Then off to the beach early (as always). We arrived about 8:30 and made the hike down to the beach. A perfect day (again) and a great beach spot. We even got my mother into the water.

The snorkel was good, although a little cloudy and sand covered as the surf had been up the previous few days. Followed some squid around for awhile.

Took the hike over to Drunk Bay, which was very cool. The girls made a unicorn

I made Rudolph the red nosed coral deer

We didn't make this one, but I thought it was cool.

While lounging in the pool, I called into the villa to ask my daughter what time it was. Without missing a beat she replied “Five O'clock somewhere”. She is clearly my child. The dinner plan was spaghetti, however the stove was not working. We are adaptable however, and managed to cook it all out on the grill. Shortly after we finished eating maintenance showed up and fixed the problem. Apparently the gas had been turned off at the tank when it was refilled. Again, very impressed with the speed of the Cimmaron staff getting all the way up there to fix it. After dinner, the adults in the group headed into town for drinks and Innervisions at High Tide.

Got to meet Bigcheeze, Littlecheeze and Coconuts – sorry no pics
Chatting with the tables around us, we discovered our whole side of the bar was primarily people from Michigan, including one family from right by us in Grand Rapids.
The girls had stayed behind at the villa while we were there. This is what I discovered when downloading my pictures later that night

I was not amused, as it is quite a drop from that railing.
Friday
Annaberg and Cruz Bay day, as everyone but Sherry and I need a break from beach (amateurs!)
I didn't take a lot of photos there, as I took a ridiculous amount the trip before. The girls in the ruins

Mandatory stop at the overlook

Lunch was at the Iguana Grill and was very good. I had tuna tacos and some wings. I'm not a big fan of wings, but theirs were really good. Some shopping, then back to the villa to get ready for dinner. It was Friday, so Aqua Bistro was a must. Gotta love that Ponzu Tuna! Sorry no food pics, I was remiss in my duties as photographer.
To bed early tonight, as tomorrow was planned for our BVI day!
To be continued...
