do they sell confirmed seats to stt? bride and i are delta family with pass (standy flts) provileges. we've done 7 trips the last 3 years. always last minute once we know there are likely to seats available on nonstop from atl to stt. we've been twice in oct, 3 times in dec, once in jan and once in april. we've been lucky in finding good villas with great rates at last minute and once we had to come back via sju buying cape air ticket stt to sju since stt to atl flt was full. never done where needed fedex type delivery, you know when you absolutely positively had to be someplace by certain time.

the key is knowing when to go and flts likely to be full, but we've be doing for decades.

i don't believe delta sells standby tickets except via employee "buddy pass" which is lowest priority standby and then based on employment date of ee who gave up the pass. seems i read somewhere that some airlines use checkin for seat priority, not delta.

maybe some help. good luck.
