Jumping in and dipping your toes...

Well we told you all we are moving down to St John and we are really taking the big plunge- no baby steps into the water for us! I will be leaving on April 25 to start our amazing life in St John and Steve will stay in Florida to tie up loose ends. friday the 26 is a holiday due to Carnival in St Thomas and i will start at St John Physical Therapy on Monday the 29th! We signed the lease on our rental place today. The hardest thing ever will be being away from Steve for an extended time, but this is what needs to happen to make this adventure start! Our blog will be up and running soon- Augie is a much better writer than I am ( and we all know he types better!)

How exciting for you both!
I'm sure you'll do great in your new job and Augie could probably do some writing for the local papers/mags on STJ and STT,he's that good!

Congrats! Just do it is the only way. That is what I did in 2010 & spent almost 2 years in glorious island life...teaching scuba diving & just being!

How wonderful for you and Augie, I have always so enjoyed your trip reports and it is obvious you really love the island. You get to live so many of our dreams! My son moved there in October to work on the boats for a few months and he is still there...easy to fall in love there.
