Heading to Vegas next month, flying on miles and using a time share condo. Leaves the budget a little more open for dining out. It's been about 25 years since I was last there so I am hoping to get some ideas on your favorite place to eat among the 1000's to pick from. Also wondering if I need reservations for the place you suggest. Buffets and eating with my fingers are out of contention.

Thanks. That is a place to start. I was a bit overwhelmed with the options so that is a place to start. After living on St John for almost 20 years, I am now concerned that I will not have the proper clothes for some of these places. I am certainly out classed by Joel's joint but I thank you for bringing me there to admire from afar. Do most of the high end places require men to wear suits?
Hubby leaves his in NJ for weddings and funerals!

Pat,
Although Delmonico's is high end, we wore casual clothing and most of the other patrons did also.

Have a blast.

My Vegas gear is pretty much my St John gear, except for the added pair of dress shoes and 1 pair of big boy pants,

Cargo shorts all days with Tees and I have a couple nice button up - Tommy Bahama style shirts for night with pants and shoes, never been told I need a jacket - that being said you will see folks all dressed up -

One I forgot to mention ALLEGRO @ the Wynn Casual - EXCELLENT Italian and
If your into seeing an absolutely amazing show - try LA REVE,

BTW - Looks like I'm booking a Vegas trip for OCT - THANKS!

Relieved I don't need a whole new wardrobe for this trip and hubby will be happy he doesn't need a suit jacket. Thanks again for the suggestions.

Happy to know that a walk down your memory lane inspired a vacation. Remember me if you win the jackpot in October!
