Are there any thrift stores on st. John? My family is going in November. The girls are wondering if there are any local places we can go digging around for thrifty treasures?? Also staying in st. Thomas for a night/day on the return trip back.

Yes, but I'm not sure where the one is on St John now. There used to be one across from Sogo's, but I heard the owner of that one was opening up something in the building next door to JJ's in Cruz Bay near the park.

On St Thomas there are several. The most popular one is across from Cost U Less and up the hill run by the Humane Society. There's another one in town run by Family Resource Center. The Salvation Army has one.on Main Street near Market Square.

Yes! If you're looking at JJ Texas Coast, look to the left and find a set of stairs going up to a side door. Nice little shop. I went in with my daughter. I believe there's a little one down by Connections somewhere, as well. Haven't been in that one.

Which reminds me, when I was on island with my daughter, we were at Mongoose Junction and she said "lets go look over there - at "Bargainville" and I looked and burst out laughing cause it was "Bouganvillea Bourtique" - certainly not Bargainville
