Spring Break!

At 45, I am finally going on my first Spring Break! Lol. Me and one of my besties from high school are taking her daughter and 2 friends to STJ for their spring break and the daughter's 19th bday. I need some ideas for cheap fun places to go for drinks and dinner. We are going to Rhumb Lines for the birthday dinner. Does anyone know what Flip Flop Rock is at Castaways? I saw that on a live music schedule. We will be there 3/3-7 which is Sunday to Thursday so any ideas for music or dancing for the girls would be appreciated ( not that we are leaving them unsupervised, the moms will be at a table in the corner! I can't get too cuh-razy since I am the DD. ).
Also, which would be the calmest beach for newbies to try SUP?
Thanks!

Donna, girlfriend trips are so much fun!
I think Maho is probably the calmest water for SUP and I'm pretty sure you can rent them there. If not, Little Maho beach at the Maho Campgrounds rents them and will show you how to use them.
Have fun! :D

I am excited! Usually I am traveling with my husband and 2 sons so I am looking forward to more lay on the beach time and more shopping!

Attached site is a good resource for upcoming live music - check it out as your trip gets closer. Recommend trying to catch Inner Visions at High Tide - often there on Thursday evenings. Saw them in early Dec. 2011..... missed them on our last trip this past December (scheduled but cancelled). Beach Bar is also good for drinks and reasonable dinner, and often has live music.

My husband and I did get to see Inner Visions a few weeks ago and they were great! I will check their FB page and see if they will be playing anywhere.
