Wonderful pics. Great colors. But you might want to remove Pic #6 on the 5th page.

Nice photos, thanks for sharing!

Did you use a filter or any post processing to get those colors and contrast?...nice!

Nice shark, where did you see that guy? Did you stay up on Bordeaux?

OK, I will be the one to say it yet again: PLEASE don't touch the turtles, people. Your touch is harmful and can cause deterioration to their shells.

Nice photos otherwise. I am interested in what you used for post-processing on the land shots, if you would please share that information.

Great pictures, what kind of camera are you using?

I'm glad that everyone liked them. Most of them were taken with a Canon d20. I actually haven't done any edited on the pictures. I put the camera on the super vivid setting It took great above water pictures but I wasn't impressed by the underwater shots. My old Canon d10 was way better for underwater pics. The clear underwater shots were taken with an olympus tough camera.

Where did you see the shark? That's not a nurse shark ...

We saw the shark on the right side of Francis. I swam after him for awhile trying to get a good picture and about 30 seconds into my chase i realized chasing a shark probably wasn't a good idea. I'm not sure but I think it's a lemon shark.

As someone who owns both the D10 and D20 I will agree that the 20 takes much better "dry" shots. The 10 seemed to be a bit brighter than the 20 underwater, but the 20 did focus faster. Both need TONS of light for good underwater shots.

I will have to try the super vivid setting. It's a bit over saturated and sharpened, but if the shot is composed well, as yours are, I find myself liking the effect.

Your shark definitely looks like a small lemon shark. I'd have probably done the same thing you did until my brain kicked in.

ATGC: Great photos! Given that the D20 is a flush lens point and shoot, I can't see how you could have used a circular polarizer, but the depth of the blue sky and the contrast between the clouds and the sky (ie, image 0190) couldn't be much better even if you did have one. I machined a small pop-on polarizer for my Canon S110 (whose lens protrudes), but maybe I should just try setting it on vivid, and hoping for weather as dry and nice as you had. Again, fantastic work!
