What time do the majority of shops across from the ferry close during the week and weekends in April?

If you are talking about downtown, the stores usually open at 9:00 a.m. and close at 5:00 p.m. If there are any cruise ships in port on Sunday they will close at noon. I'm not positive, and I'm sure someone will correct me, but if there are no cruise ships on Sunday, the stores downtown (or the majority of them) don't open; or at least it has been that way.

The businesses on the Waterfront usually stay open until at least 1 pm on Sunday. However, not all the restaurants in town are open on Sunday.

Nowhere near the Red Hook ferry however....unless you mean the Town ferry from STJ.
