This girl!!!

Thanks to our recent JetBlue nightmare (http://www.virgin-islands-on-line.com/v ... 5&p=270516), we were able to book a trip back way sooner than we thought! I guess all of that complaining was worth it in the end because JetBlue's travel credits paid for our flight. Woohoo!! And thanks to our fabulous Capital One Venture Card, we are able to rent a Jeep without actually paying a dime. It's almost like we couldn't not go, right??!!

My husband and I are both in grad school and we don't want to miss any classes, so we're coming for a quick little jaunt near Memorial Day. And the best part, Captain John had an opening! Double woohoo!!

Now we just need a place to stay. I'm thinking Grande Bay. That way we'll have free parking and be within walking distance to everything.

I have it. I have it bad. St. John is certainly an obsession of mine. Maybe we all need a support group... lol

And Beachgirlsdad, we're not telling anyone about this trip just yet. So shhhhh....

How on earth were you able to get your rewards points to pay for an entire car rental!?

I shop too much??? Lol

I use the card for everything- gas, groceries, utilities, insurance, etc., rather than using cash. Then I take the cash that I would have used on those purchases and put it on my Capital One card.

Wow, you guys are living right! When I was in grad school, my big night was an 88 cent bean burrito at taco bell ...that's all I could afford!
