Returning to St. John - Villa Question

We are returning to St. John! We had gone every year for the better part of a decade, but unfortunately haven't been able to get there for the last 5 years. Needless to say I am quite excited. I can't wait to see what's new and re-visit our favorite places.
First task: villa. Has anyone stayed at Caribbean Jewels. It is on Ajax Peak (love that location). Looks nice, but it is also helpful to get feedback from others. Thanks!

There was a lot of discussion about Caribbean Jewels a couple years ago. There were issues with a neighbor, and from reading all the drama, I was never sure who was in the right and who was in the wrong (or maybe it was a little of both).
Basically, a neighbor of Caribbean Jewels has issues with villa guests making too much noise.
You can read a lot more about it here:

Thanks Teresa Rae! Very helpful. Still trying to relearn how to navigate on the boards again (haven't been out here for a while).
Something to think about. I sympathize with the neighbor, but at the same time, I don't want to worry that sitting on the deck having a cocktail will result in a tiff with the neighbors.

We stayed at Caribbean Jewels 2 years ago. We had already booked the villa when I started reading about the "neighbors". Of course I was concerned but we were 3 adults and we had no problems with the "neighbors". The neighbors seem to have a problem with kids and noise so if you have young children, I don't think I would recommend this villa.
The house is beautiful, views are amazing. The second bedroom is upstairs reached by a winding staircase which could be a pain to some. Both bedrooms are same size. They also have a generator which is good if power goes down.
For the price, this is a fantastic villa.
PM me if you need more info. We rented thru Destination St John.

Thanks Susan. We have no children - will be four adults. And we really are pretty quiet people (though when my husband gets with his friend, they have been known to get into laughing fits that can be a bit loud!).
I also contacted the neighbors directly, and they seem reasonable. I am sure their preference would be that the house is never rented, but I would assume that they would prefer us over the family with the kids! We will have them over for cocktails when we get there to smooth the way.
The villa does look lovely. Have looked at a lot of options and it does seem to have everything we were looking for - love this location. We are also considering Aria (we had booked Aria several years ago, but at the last minute the owner decided to come to the island, so we were moved). I am just not sure that Aria is as nice for two couples as CJ is.
Thanks again.
