Little Lamesure clear around the point to the right and into Europa. Kiddle to Grootpan, or Grootpan to Ki ddle. And the farside of Grootpan. Stayto the right side of grootpan and go to the end of Cabrite Horn.

THANKS! Lots of places we haven't been. We have been to Lamshure and liked it but didn't go real far out. We haven't even ventured towards the Chocolate Hole area....is there places along there to just stop and jump in like the rest of the island?

There is a small beach on the back of the bay were the boaters beach their digny's I like to snorkel up the left hand side to the point if it isn't to rough you can go around the point some neat canyons in the rock then head across the mouth come back the right side.

We enjoyed hiking the Yawzi Trail and going snorkeling on the left hand side (as you are walking towards the point). Yawzi Trail is on the way to Little Lameshur. Its a short and easy hike, with a little cove part way down the trail. Its a fairly easy entry - you just have to watch out for urchins. Nice snorkel going out towards the point. OSJ featured it a long time ago. Here is the link to one of their videos featuring Yawzi. I think there might be another one too.

We had a very nice snorkel last April along Parret Bay (the western side of Reef Bay), tip courtesy of Veronica, our landscaper. We saw nice coral, a lobster, squid, turtles, reef fish, and a big long green fish. You drive along the Reef Bay Road around Fish Bay, watching for the fact that to stay on Reef Bay Road, you need to take a left 90 degree turn at one point - there's a road sign, so watch for it (red dot on map below). There is a cut on the right side of the road next to the head of the Parret Bay trail where you can park a car. The trail is steep, but there are some stairs, and it only takes two minutes to hike down to the beach. Check before you come that the southern seas are calm. You put in where the trail meets the beach, head out a bit, and then snorkel eastward parallel to the shore to a bit past the point. There is a very wide shallow section after that with some urchins, so you should probably retrace your path back west in the water. We snorkeled over to Reef Bay and checked out the ruins there, but that is a more ambitious snorkel. Attachments below to assist, courtesy of the Trail Bandit.

All the best,

Kevin

You will need a kayak or dinghy to get to Henley Cay. While amazing, the currents can be brutal so consider a vest and definitely take a buddy.
