Trip is almost here! how are swells and mosquitos?

I cant believe our trip is finally here! Just wondering if anyone on island can let me know how the swells and skeeters are? Thanks in advance and cant wait to there on Wednesday!

If you search "swells" here on the forum, you'll find some links that point you to websites. It rained all day Thursday, so I'm guessing that next Saturday or so, a mosquito bloom will happen - be sure to bring insect repellent and if they get ya, there's an anti-itch spray at Chelsea Drug (and St. John Spice, I think) called West Indies Itch Relief that works pretty well.

Significant rainfall here yesterday (Saturday Jan 12).
Light rain off and on all day at Salomon, but got drenched walking back on the Lind Point trail yesterday afternoon.
