Few more photos and thoughts

I really love this island. And amazingly neither of us snorkels
I'll rent stuff sometimes, not this trip at all. That's what's great about it, it appeals to different people for different reasons. To us, its our very happy place where we step off the plane and decompress.
Right now, we are listening to the pan dragons playing from our balcony. They were playing in the park and we watched them there, but we can still hear them from Lavender Hill.
They set up the Christmas tree the other day, that's always fun to watch

We made it to Salomon today, more people there than usual though from watching they seemd to be taking the Caneel trail back. Salomon is perhaps our favorite beach, again from the perspective of a non snorkeler. It's picture perfect, castaway style, usually not crowded, and beautiful water.
We had chickens for company, but from the tracks the deer had just gone through. See how well the chicken blends?

Unfortunately we got rained out at salomon
So we ended up stopping at deli grotto on the way back through and getting water at the lumberyard.
We hit up the happy hour at spyglass; from last years trip this is our go to bar. Happy hour drinks are very good, rum punch is $3, with 3 healthy shots of rum, and I really like their 2/$5 tacos. The bartenders are fantastic, and the one waitress we've seen is great too. This was our 4th trip to this place this week which says a lot
We wandered to the beach bar tonight, I was wearing my forum tshirt but didn't see Bill in VA, so sorry if we missed you! I tried out the casino in wharfside, put in $20 and came out with $20.05
We then watched the pan dragons in the park, donated our casino money to them and called it an early night.
