Staying at lavender hill, heres one of their resident cats, we actually chose to stay at lavender hill because they showed cats on their website. We take care of feral cats and our last house cat passed away this year at 22 years so we are cat people. We also hope/plan to go walk acc dogs tomorrow; already stopped in once this week. Small world, we are from the buffalo area and one of the women who works there worked at the buffalo zoo!

Peter Bay is getting really built up
On a food note, we really like spyglass happy hour and their fish tacos are a fave. They make nice pours on their mixed drinks

We went to woodys for lunch yesterday, might try to make it to their happy hour, sat across the street tonight at iguana grill and watched, it wasn't that crowded at woodys. IG had a good tuna taco, but they were slammed, our waitress tried but couldn't keep up and service was slow.

I'm always looking for kitty's too. Last year, I was woken up at 1:00 am by 2 "bush" cats fighting in our villa drive way... I almost had to get the hose out to break it up, but the ran off... what a racket... The Cinnamon kitty in your picture looks like my Roxy (same white patch!)... Love my kitties!

Hey there Loverotties-
We walked dogs this am, and yes it was Kate that we talked to the other morning and this morning. They are closed sun and mon so I won't be able to mention about your message to her, sorry. Congrats on the adoption though!
We are really involved with a canine rescue at home,( caninerescue.org for anyone who wants to look ) so we check shelters out anywhere on vacation.
We had fun walking 3 dogs down to Cruz bay beach, this was the first time we'd done it. here's their pictures
Tito
Zoe (she and Tito walked together and they both decided to dig a hole to try and cool off, notice the sandy nose

)
We ran into someone in the park while walking the above two, he said he'd walked them on the reef bay trail the day before! I have a much greater appreciation for anyone who does pet photography now too
And Alice
We've stopped into the ACC before but never walked. It was fun, good exercise for us and good to get the dogs out and about.
I then rewarded myself for my good deed by buying lunch at the church in the park, they were having a fundraiser. Several meats and sides. I chose dove pork, which kind of made me wonder what I was going to get but she explained it was a way they cook the pork. It looked yummy, and is sitting in the fridge for dinner.
I believe the Pan Dragons are playing in the park or somewhere tonight too, a must see if you ever get the chance!

We also walked Tito. He got along well with Coco, but unfortunately a couple of his personality traits might not have worked well for what we plan for our future, so we had to reconsider (they were unsure if he was returned because his previous owners hadn't worked long enough with him, and we weren't willing to take that risk). We went to walk him a second time, but somehow got the afternoon walking time wrong and nobody was there when we showed up. We also wanted to go on the Sunday hike but it was pouring and there was no way for us to find out if the hikes still happen in the rain as there was no answer or recording on the main line to the ACC.
Tito is a great dog. I am really surprised he was still there. All of the other small dogs (aside from one with mange, so we were not able to see if Coco got on well) were long gone by the time we arrived.
We stopped by to check out Tiger, but he was literally being adopted as we walked up. So happy for him. He was adorable!
