After a lot of research and help from this forum as well as theTripavisor forum we finally booked our "first" official trip to St John!! We had a tough time picking a villa due to all of the amazing options. We finally decided on Abrigado!! Has anyone stayed in this villa before? Any tips or recomemdations? I can not wait to check it out, May 2013 can not come soon enough. I just wanted to thank all of the people that responded to my original post asking for villa advice, I really appreciate it!!!
Now we need a jeep, any recommendations

Good for you guys! I'm a newbie, but my villa manager said he liked courtesy car rental on St. John, their number is (340) 776-6650, they meet you at the dock, they needed a100.00 deposit to hold a jeep for us.
Enjoy!

We stayed in Abrigado in July 2009. It was great! We just had us and our 2 sons. The kitchen was well equipped, though I didn't cook. The bedrooms were large and very nice. Whole house AC which was nice in July. The veranda was very comfortable and the pool was large enough for us but may not be for more. Though, I am not going to lie, we are pretty big people ( 6'-6'6" ). The house has a security system too.
Enjoy!

Congrats!
Re the car rental, everyone probably has their favorites. We usually use Conrad sutton and have always liked him. Other people don't like him. We used courtesy once and they were nice. Think about whether you think ease of parking in town is important or not too and factor that in.
Enjoy!
