airfare prices?

I hope the air fare prices drop. We will be vacationing in July and last time I paid 368.00 which was a great price. That was out of Newark. I want a non stop flight and have not seen any yet but hoping that it is just too early to list. I hate to fly and would rather get their on one plane

What airlines are flying to STT now out of Philly or Newark? I looked on Jet Blue and their price was about 538.00 but that was with a stop. Did I mention that I want a straight through flight

Any input is appreciated if anyone knows anything.

I am looking for airfare for next year as well.
There don't appear to be any direct flights out of Chicago....but they have me connecting in Philly on US AIR for a direct flight from Philly.

US Airways was flying one direct flight a week last July from PHL, I think it was Saturday.
This probably isn't helpful but I gave up trying to plan a relatively short notice trip last summer because I could not find any flight that was tolerable from PHL or the surrounding airports. The prices stayed too high and then started selling out, never saw that before. The remaining options were too expensive to the flight times.
My mom and I have both been planning seperate Caribbean trips recently for next summer. I would buy around $500 if you find a good flight but then again, I am picky about times and am willing to spend a couple bucks more to ease my travel day. We have not seen any bargins or close to it and she will fly any day, any time to save $$$.

I have been checking fares from PHL Philly and it looks like US airways are the only non stops to STT. They appear to be the only game in town for non stops out of PHL as far as i can tell. It looks to me that they have nonstops on saturday and sunday.
I booked the us airways nonstop for Saturday in January. The flight now is almost full and it was only a quarter full when I booked it a couple of months ago. Also, The price has gone up. For a one way I paid $331. and now it is $370.
As far as EWR Newark, did you check United airlines for a nonstop?

AA has been running that 8am non-stop from JFK forever, usually at a somewhat competitive price.
If not significantly delayed, it gets you in before noon, and has given us the fun option to stop for lunch at Gladys' in CA on STT before hopping on the CA ferry to STJ.
Dont know if it makes $ sense for you to do a sleep n park deal near JFK from PA...

Thanks everyone - I will look at those options. Our trip runs on a Saturday to the following Wednesday. If it is cheaper to fly out on a Friday that would also be an option. The last time we went in July we did fly out of Newark on a very early flight and did the park/sleep/fly - not too much sleeping though too excited

Thanks again.

I can honestly say that I am jealous of you east coaster's when it comes to airfare to St. John. I know all the Texas folks feel my pain, but airfare right now for spring travel is around $1,000, and July is running about $700 or so depending on the day. We are still trying to plan for next year, but with a new job starting after Thanksgiving I can't make them just yet. Will definitely have to be Scroogey somewhere with those airfares!
