Can't cruise around STJ without some great music...
Renting a jeep from STJ Car Rental and was wondering what would be best to bring...
CD's?? or do the jeeps have ports to plug IPOD's directly into them?? We also have an adapter
that plugs into a cigarette lighter type plug...
Random question but just need to know. Was thinking CD's might be the easiest/least valuable way to go.? Do the jeeps usually have cd players? Don't want an adapter, etc to get stolen..Thanks for any recommendation..

We bring our Ipod. All newer Jeeps have an Aux port to plug Ipods into. We have never brought Cds.

I burn itunes playlists onto a bunch of cdrs and bring those to use in the jeep's cd player. That way I don't have to deal with/worry about my ipod and adapter etc while at the beach. I would be sad to lose my ipod, so it stays in the villa safe unless we are playing music at the house.

The Mongoose! So excited that, thanks to Sonos, we can now get 104.9 in our home here in Western New York. Nothing beats listening to it while driving to the beach though. 2 more days!!

Thank you!! I've been wondering about local radio stations! What type of music does the Mongoose play? Are there any local reggae stations you could recommend?

Last year we toted my iPod everywhere, but after reading the thread about thefts at salt pond, I think we'll be leaving that at the villa this year.
