April/May Weather Question

What is the weather like towards the end of April-beginning of May? I am reading about the rainy season. Is it something I should be concerned with? I have the flexiblility to go later in June. What would be your advice between going to St. John the last week of April going into May or waiting and going in June. Thanks for the advice.

Every year since moving (7 years now) we always have 7 to 10 days of solid cloud cover and steady rain in April or May and again in October or November, so for 50 of the 60 days it will be great but I feel sorry for those who are here during the 10 rainy/cloudy ones. This year though I have to say was a slight exception - 10 days of solid cloud but no rain
