Hey everyone! I know there are a lot of issues out there - I am trying to get to some but I am on vacation with the family at the moment and I can't spend too much time on the computer! Please use this post to list issues, make complaints, or leave suggestions. I will try to get to everything eventually!

The Google search in the upper right hand corner is no doubt just indexing the old forum location still - but I am not seeing issue with the search on the new forum.

The main search page is here:

But when you are in a forum index/home page (like St. John) the search box (the one next to the New Post button) searches just that forum -

If you start a search from inside a topic - it searches just that topic.

These are working for me... comments?

Also of note -

The latests posts in the left column over there is now fixed -

The font size overall is stabilized -

I moved the icons to the forum photos, twitter page, Facebook and RSS feed into the tool above right -

it only searches the new forum...

when I search for trip reports, I only get the new ones from new forum?

I was looking for my review of Fun and Contentment and when I search that, I only get the posts from the new forum.

do you have to go to old forum to search posts there?

CBama - the forum was converted. All the posts from the other location are here.

Did you search on the exact name of the trip report?

Also - you can also always see all the posts you made - in you case this link:

The search is not working well for me either. I see that main search link nowhere except in your post in this thread.
"Joshie" is not found when I search this forum either.


Sorry, new readers part of this post is now missing, therefore, it may not make sense. What else is new???

Yes, that works... links to his posts show for the new site, however, nothing is found on a regular search for Joshie, as should be for "Where is Joshie" on the OT Forum (for example).

If I search for for trip report or fun and contentment it only pulls uo post from new forum. There should be pages of trip reports. I Dont know how to explain

It is not pulling in posts generated on old forum.

Even if I limit to my username I only see posts from new forum

If I wanted to research a villa I would only have access to new forum entries if that makes sense.

I am accessing via phone right now so too difficult to paste my searches

I will definitely work out the search issues after my trip. There is obviously some data missing, but I think the new built in search is more powerful, yet quirky.

It will be good when Google finally catches up with us too -

Hey Anthony, I like the new look of this forum!

I am now getting my daily email fix too - thnx! I hate to whine, but the photos are not coming through. Sometimes it is just a bad post, but when I clicked on the link and went to the post - IT WAS YOU! Lucky you to be on St. john.

when you return from vacation please search this forum for Flanders.

that is a villa I researched on the old forum, and I know there are multiple posts.

when you search on new forum, you receive no hits.

thought this was an easier way to explain by example.
