Wednesday July 25th
We rolled out of bed about 7am for coffee overlooking Great Cruz Bay. Breakfast is a tradition, and was expertly prepared by Bert – eggs over easy, bacon, toast, OJ and coffee. Oh, it is wonderful to be in St. John. We decided to chill on the pool deck in the gazebo overlooking Great Cruz Bay, and all of a sudden, there was this guy trimming the palm tree and cutting down the cocnuts. I asked him if we could have one, and he gave us 7 of them! All cut, ready to pour and slice up!

We decided to have a “chill” day after a hectic travel day. After breakfast we took our time cleaning up and headed into Cruz Bay. First stop – Mongoose Junction and RI Patton to see JoAnn. Glad we stopped because is a few days JoAnn will be taking off on on a buying trip to New York. Ann shopped for her birthday charm and decided on a new seahorse charm. We introduced Marge to RI Patton and she found a wonderful bracket with 3 sealife charms. Barbara rounds it out with a pair of sterling earrings. Bert managed to control himself. After our RI Patton stop it is up to the Tap Room for some late morning refreshment.

After a little more shopping at Mongoose Junction we headed to town for lunch a Woody’s. No Mahi-Mahi sandwiches today. So it was grouper, shark bites, and mussels for us with a round of Bushwackers. Ahhhhhhh, to be in St. John. After lunch we headed to the Beach Bar to introduce Boo to her name sake (only a pic) Boo the kitten we rescued at 5 weeks old. And of course, another round of Bushwackers. Boos are the BEST!!

Now it was time to head to St. John Market for some grocery shopping, another stop to Starfish to finish up then head home for sandwiches (now that the lunchmeat has thawed). Now it was time for POOL time! But first, the Pool Boy had his duties to perform.

Sat outside to enjoy an awesome sunset with a beer or two. Planning to hit the beach tomorrow so headed to bed early.
