Visiting St John

I have two questions to ask and hope that anyone can answer them
1. Can you still rent a car in STT and bring it over on the ferry to STJ?
2. Need to rent a boat for the day to go to the baths, anyone know a good boat?

#1 - yes, I know Budget still allows this - and I think the government waived the recent attempt to enforce the law about it (to not let rental cars travel between islands). Maybe someone else can update this though?

I can not say anything about car rental on STT because we always rent on STJ.
We have rented a boat several times from Ocean Runners and have always have never had a problem.

As far as I know the gov't has put a halt on enforcing the law, which they tried doing earlier this year.
