This is a test of the pictures from the Jimmy Buffett Concert in Dallas. Here's the MAN:

I have more if this works.

Like I said, the best shows were outside before the concert. These were every where! Parrot Heads were more than willing to share their goodies:

And I, of course, did my share of imbibing:

And partaking in the fun and merriment!!

A good time was had by all. But the most fascinating story is the one of how we met the cruisers!! Totally unbelieveable! They came from Louisianna, and met us there... I still don't know how it happened! Mayby they will chime in and explain... Cruisers?

- Bert (i had too much fun!!)

That does look like fun.
JB is coming within 1/2 hour of my house on July 28th. It is sold out, but I know ways of getting tickets... hmmm...
Is anyone going to Alpine Valley, East Troy, WI to see Buffett?

Unbelievable story

Ok, here's the story of how we met Cari_Bert - still unbelievable to me. Hubby & I decided to attend JB concert in Dallas last minute. We had been to the Houston concert the weekend before & had so much fun. I was so excited about going to the concert, I posted that we were going here on the STJ forum. Cari_Bert replied that he & wife would be there & to look for them sitting in lawn chairs behind a white van during the pre-concert tailgating in the parking lot. And, I was thinking that I would love to meet them, but it was be impossible. When we drove up to Pizza Hut Park 4 1/2 hours before the concert & saw the sea of RVs, cars, & people tailgating, we knew there would be no way of finding the right white van. We parked in what I think was the last parking lot and one of the last spaces -- next to a white van. Never really thought anything about it, though. No one was at the van when we parked. As we were getting out of the car, getting ready to walk around & people-watch all the parrotheads, a man & woman walked up to the van. The man turned around & I saw St. John, USVI on the back of his shirt. I thought, 'this can't be, but I'm asking anyway'. I asked if he was Bert & low & behold, it was him! Now what were the chances of parking right next to each other!!!! Bert & his wife were so nice to us. They had brought chairs, beer & Bert's yummy scones for us. We had the nicest visit. And, on top of all of this, they will be staying in the same villa as we are, directly after we leave the villa.

By the way, great pics, Bert. How did you zoom in so close?

We were there too (from AR near Memphis). We took our 3 kids (6,10,13). Our 10 year old son is a huge JB fan. He sang all of the songs! We had a blast, though it was a little different being there with kids. I'm glad that we took them and now that we have we can go solo next time!

I am trying to find out how I can get a case of Landshark, my new favorite beer! At $8/bottle, we had to limit ourselves!

Fins!

BasUR, if we could have met you, too, we would've had a big St.John Forumites Buffett tailgating party between all of us there! Wasn't the concert great? Love your pictures. Thanks for posting.

You must be one of the lucky ones to score tickets. I heard they sold out in 5 minutes. Have fun!! I'll be listening on Radio Margaritaville.

Cruiserskcs - We used to live about 10 minutes from Gonzales at the Highland/Pecue area. My husband knows a guy in Gonzales - Do you happen to know David Wilcox?

I know the name, but I don't know him personally. Doesn't he sell insurance? If you lived near Highland, we were close neighbors. We live in the Prairieville/Dutchtown area (just have a Gonzales address for some weird reason). Small world.
