Due to circumstances beyond our control, we had to cancel our trip to St. John and our stay at Reef Madness from 7-12-12 thru 7-20-12. We had trip insurance and hope we can get a refund to put down on another trip in the future. Very disapointed as we were looking forward to our stay on St. John.

we struggled if we were going to make our trip also...but in the end it worked out.

So sorry to hear that, I can't imagine having to cancel a trip so close to leaving after all the time anticipating.

Wow what a bummer! I hope it was not something devestating personally! (or professionally for that matter) Surely the TI will pay off.

GeckoBob, so sorry to hear about your rock cancel. Just know that it will be there for you when you can go. Hope the trip insurance will be beneficial...that's why we purchase it, right? We didn't get to go this summer after many years and it really put a damper on my spirit. Hope your issue will be resolved and you can look forward to planning a new trip. Reef Madness is such a cool villa, right up the hill from my beloved Adeste!

Want to thank everybody for thier support on canceling our trip. Haven't heard anything from the trip insurance, but hopefully we will soon. We will schedule another trip!!!!

Just recieved a letter from CSA. They can't return any refunds for our trip because the reason we canceled is not covered in thier policy!! Feeling depreesed today any way, and this is just icing on the cake. Thanks CSA. You won't get my bussiness again!!!

Would you mind sharing the reason why you had to cancel your trip? I have used CSA so am curious. If you would like to keep it private, I understand. Don't worry about it.

Sorry to hear that. I had horrible luck getting trip insurance claims paid so I have no warm fuzzy feelings for that line of business.

our son is involved with a custody battle with his ex girl friend. there also is an on going criminal investigation in progress against her and threats made against my wife and I. Also threatened to damage our house.

oh dear I hope things get settled quickly and that everyone remains safe.

So sorry to hear that your trip was cancelled, could you tell me the company that you used for the trip insurance? I'm considering insurance for my Sept. trip. Thanks bunches!
