Hey, y'all!

We will be staying in a villa that is a 5 - 10 minute hike through the Park to Cocolobo Beach.

I saw an on-stjohn.com Beach Break video from 2007 (AWESOME video), but was still curious.

Can anyone tell me if it's worth visiting?
Can you snorkel there?
Any other tips / advice?

Thanks, y'all!

WOW! After all my years of visiting STJ, I've never even heard of it. Can't wait to find out what/where it is...

Aaahh! It appears that it's in Fish Bay. Never beached or snorkeled there. Can't wait to hear the responses....

We just stayed at Reef Bay Holiday Villa, which I'm pretty sure is very close to the Cocolobo villa and also close to the Cocolobo Beach, which I'm guessing is some where in Fish Bay. We drove by it every day on our way in and back and it always looked calm, though we didn't see any easy public access to it. And you can't round the point from Reef Bay to Fish Bay on foot...huge steep rock outcropping separate them and the waves are usually so big you wouldn't want to swim it either.

We did however enjoy hiking down and exploring the Reef Bay Beach, which is also likely a few minutes from your villa.

It wasn't great for snorkeling (again the surf is heavy), but my son had a blast boogie boarding in the swells on the far right side. And our entire group including a 5 year old started at the top of the Reef Bay Trail and hiked all the way back to the villa.

That was cool to be able to do.
