Is this BS or real?

So, I am enjoying some Jerry Lee Lewis at Jazz Fest today and this guy starts up a conversation with me. I notice a hook bracelet on his arm and bring attention to it. When he shook my hand and saw I had one on he got all talkative.
He asks me if I know where Peter Bay is on St. John, and I tell him "yes". He changes the subject (he was trashed) and asks me if I have heard of Soggy Dollar, and I again tell him "yes". He proceeds to tell me his sister is buying it.
He said that he used to go to STJ every Christmas and that his brother (think he said Chris but I know he said he's a short guy) works at Woody's. He said next time I am there go to Woody's and tell him you know "Mugsy" (think that's what he said).
I couldn't figure out if someone in his family owns a house on Peter Bay or not, and I don't know if anything he was telling me was true.
Does anyone know if Soggy Dollar is for sale and if so if someone is buying it soon? He said they were all gonna be down there in the end of July.
The conversation ended because he wanted to get some more beer and get ready for Brad Paisley.
He did tell me he lives in Maryland, but he's from Philly...not that any of that was true

OK...you are welcome to explain this little snippet Horhay.
And the only
"short guy" that works at Woody's doesn't technically work at Woody's. He just hangs out there and helps out if needed.

Kirk - thanks for the article - definitely appreciated.

Bandit - I thought of that guy first thing when he was telling me this...they could be related.

Nothingtolose, I was talking to Jean at Island Blues today. She leaves Wendesday for Jazz Fest. She was way pumped about coming to play where you live.
Cheers, RickG

hmm... we met the owners of the soggy dollar at the bar at ocean grille (or whatever the new restaurant at mongoose junction is called) this past March. It was like meeting celebrities! They seemed pretty happy with their purchase, and their future plans for the place. So, that rumour sounds strange to me. They were very cool -- I sure hope they are not selling!

It is most definately a rumor, CJ and his family still own Soggy Dollar and plan on keeping it.

I was thinking the same thing - especially since it seemed that he changed where he lived on me halfway through the conversation
I am sure I will see him around the fest this weekend - will see what his story is this time

He was hammered though so he may not even remember the conversation.
Thanks guys!
