Just got back from our trip Tuesday, going into Wednesday! Long day!!!! Next time I will book an early flight home. The last day I thought I would want to stay longer but when we had to check out of the villa at 10am, return the rental car and driving around a bit, took the ferry, and ended up at the airport 4 hrs. early! LONG DAY! Started at 4am and ended at 2am. Bad planning on my part....anyway...I figured I would post bits and pieces about our trip! I traveled with some very picky eaters and found this trip especially hard because they are young adults that basically like to eat mac & cheese. In fact my daughter brought a few boxes of her Annie's Mac & cheese with her. We had quite a few good meals. We especially liked our meals at Cafe Roma. I don't remember it being so good! :)

As basic as this looks it was so good! I actually bought the ingredients to try and make it. The balsamic glaze I wasn't sure about. I did buy a bottle of balsamic cream by Modena.

Cafe Roma is our favorite. Last couple of trips we've been there twice during our stay. Love the chicken and spinach ravioli in the second pic. My favorite

Balsamic glaze is so easy to make, it is essentially balsamic vinegar that you reduce. I like to add a little soy sauce and brown sugar to mine. A cup of decent, don't use the most expensive, balsamic vinegar, a splash of soy and 1 T of brown sugar, simmer on stove till reduced to syrup. I drizzle it over tomatoes, cukes and fresh mozzarella for an easy first course. I like a little fruity olive oil and some salt and pepper in the bottom of the dish too but it really all about whatever you like.

Looks good, but you need to look up Rick G's rules. Rule #1 no whiners!
