Day Two - Trunk Bay
People starting stirring at Golden Dragon and having coffee on the deck, just so damn happy to be here! Steve was enthralled by the Bananquits and Golden Dragon has a beautiful feeder on the deck. Steve would feed them every morning and afternoon.

I know, I know, there are so many beaches on St. John, but my friend Tom just loves Trunk Bay and the newbies had never seen it. The California Kids had been traveling since Friday night and they were up the latest so I checked in with Pete and told him where we going, and he said they'd probably just hang. The six of us loaded up the car and off we went. I just love seeing people reaction the first time you head to the beaches and the amazing views!! Trunk was not too crowded, so we settled in for a few hours of gorgeous beach time.

We headed back to the villa mid afternoon and the California Kids were lounging in the pool. Cousin Lisa made us promise NEVER to leave her behind again
and the villa limin commenced. Yup, Ipod playing, blender whirring and good vibes all around.

My daughter loved Panini last year, so I called and made a reservation for 8:00. Janet, the owner, was as gracious as ever and the setting here is just lovely, right on the same beach as the Beach Bar. The table shared some toasted ravioli and roasted garlic appetizers. I had the Orichette with Brie (love it), two people had the vegetable alfredo pasta dish which was delicious. Steve had the Tuscan steak which was great. Annette had a veal dish in brandy cream sauce that was actually a little bland. Krissy had the pizza and loved it and Tom had a seafood pasta special that was good but not great.
We decided to head back to the villa after dinner since our day on Born to Rhumb was scheduled tomorrow and we would have to be at the dock at 8:00 a.m. Headed home to Golden Dragon and had a few drinks by the pool then headed off to bed.
