There is no US cell service from Annaberg so I could not post until we got in AT&T area.

Karen decided to paint today so I got her all set up at Annaberg and then went for a walk. I walked to Maho Bay Camp, went down to little maho and then took the goat trail over to maho and then back.

Sun was in and out today and there was a nice breeze most of the day so it was not too hot.

After leaving Annaberg we went to the Tourist Trap to wish Larry a happy vacation. He is taking a well deserved vacation and will reopen after Memorial Day.

I am going to try to convince Karen to Go to town with me to go to Wagapalooza but I don't know if I will be successful.

Her are a couple of pics from Annaberg

Mom:
I love hiking on the island. In addition to all the official trails you run into little spur trails that lead to interesting things. I have had a few conversations with locals and they tell me about other hidden things to explore. I always run out of time. I guess that is why I have to keep coming back. Just put hiking on the list for next time. I always leave with a list of things to do on the next trip.

Eagleraylover: I know you will have a wonderful vacation. I am not good at writing trip reports after the fact - too depressing- so instead I thought I would try this!

8 more days left in paradise...

That's so interesting that you find writing trip reports depressing- my hubby is in charge of ours because, quite frankly, I think he write so much better than i doand has such a great style but I can't wait for each installment! It helps me a little with re- entry. Maybe even posting a link to all your pictures!!! They have been yummy!!!
