We joined the energy girls Canadian Ruth (theshopper3) and Michelle (Bugblue98) along with another 20 or so forumites for a party at The Beach Bar last night. It was a hopping time. Canadian Ruth and Michelle procured very cool name tags for us (not geeky at all) in the shape of fish and flip-flops. The bartenders were begging for name tags. Canadian Ruth also brought glow in the dark bracelets that the band and bartenders were soon all wearing. STJ Ruth stopped down for a drink. They are crazy busy at the store and need more staff (hint, hint). The band, maria y el sol, was great - playing a variety of French, Spanish and Portugese songs. We bought there CD and are listening to it now. They play at the Front Yard and Island Blues this week. We'll be seeing them again.

It was a VERY HAPPY event with hugs all around. It always amuses me when I meet forumites. It's like we know each so well, we just don't know what each other looks like. People really do read what you post, it's not just some mad man rambling in the dark.

We left around 10PM, ran by Pine Peace for essentials (Rum, Ponche Kuba, Pepsi, Limes, West Indian Viagra) and headed back to Villa Callaloo.

Villa Callaloo is delightful. We had a Coral Bay light show to watch as we put a serious dent in our bottle of Ponche Kuba. Time to head out to Francis Bay.

Jorge, water clarity at Francis Bay today was pristine. Shi$$er? Three outside units, no waiting. I'll send photos later.
