Anyone flying to Boston direct in the next couple of days?

Please see the ACC post from FB below:

NEW ENGLANDERS we need your help. Great news - Billy and his wife left St John yesterday heading home to Boston. They fell in love with Happy on their last day and have adopted him. Happy needs an escort ASAP to Boston before the fights restrict dogs in cargo. If you are heading to Boston and are willing to be Happy's escort to her new family, please call us at 774-1625. We are thrilled that Happy has a new home. She is the sweetest and "happiest" dog you could meet and would be very easy to manage at the airport. Please consider helping Billy get his new dog home. Thank you.

Yes, I checked with him first but he's not flying direct. He suggested I post on the board.

I met Happy while on island in April. She is a great dog and incredibly friendly.

Please forumites, spread the word and help her get to the states before the deadline (Mid-May I believe).

Nancy-- if you broaden the net a bit-- if someone is flying into metro NY i could pick up the puppy and drive partway up and meet them with the dog--

would that work?

Nancy_B - I don't know how it works flying with a dog and I am not flying direct. But I will be flying from STT to Atlanta to Albany, NY on 5/13, arriving in Albany at 10:50 pm. That is only a few hundred miles from the dog's new home.

Hi there - we'll be flying back to Boston from STT on AA on May 21st. Not sure if that is too late? Does anyone know? Also, we are not on a non stop flight, so I am not sure if that would be an issue? If we can help in any way, we would be glad to...

Nancy-- done-

all others-- if you are on island or approaching being on island -- call ACC-- even if you are on a flight that stops apparently the issue according to ACC has to do more with tarmac temperatures (where you stop) than anything else. so if you are flying-- call them and let them know when and maybe it WOULD work.
