Coral Bay Trip report: Day 1

We arrived in STT on 4/21. The airport was the busiest I have ever seen. The customs line was wrapped around the airport and back into baggage claim. Flights were delayed because they could not get people through customs. It was insane and I was happy that I was getting the heck out of there. There were flights that landed early and then some that were late and Rachel was struggling to get everyone to the ferry. We waited a few minutes at the bar, she came to get us and we raced across STT and made the 3:00 ferry.
There was a little confusion with Caribbean Villas on our arrival, but it all worked out and we were on our way to Coral Bay after picking up a case of water at the ice company. Our greeter was super nice but I think he forgot that we have all been there before since he drove sooooooo slow on the way to the villa.
The drive up to One Particular Harbour is steep but that view is worth it.
I will write a full review of the villa but there was very little that we did not like about it.
The owner has just left so there were a few cold bottles of wine, cheese, crackers, and fruit in the fridge.
We poured a glass of wine and thought we would jump in the pool, but well, it was freezing! The guys were troopers but the ladies did a foot dip and decided against it.
After the one glass of wine started going to our heads, we hopped in the jeep and were going to hit Island Blues but they were closed so we stopped at Aqua Bistro. Our meals were great, service was OK. In general, that would be the service theme for the trip. Fair service was the norm most everywhere we went.
After a quick shopping trip at Lily’s, we headed back for a nightcap on the deck and then it was early to bed.
