Hot and humid (lows in the 70's, highs in the upper 80's), but we always go in June...and since we're from Dallas and it's fairly common for temps in Texas to reach high 90's, low 100's in June, going to STJ is actually break from the heat for us.
Staying in a villa high up on a hill (wind), A/C in the bedroom and Dri-Fit clothing also help mitigate the heat a lot...otherwise, the whole week is like a game of leapfrog from one cooling off area to another whether that cooling of area be the ocean, the villa pool, the Tap Room or the car zooming down the road with the windows rolled down.
One trick I learned last time I was on STJ was to open up a window or door on two sides of the villa if you can...it creates a cross wind, makes a huge difference.

June is the only time I've been. Once it was sweltering with little wind, but perfect the other time. I like it because it's not super busy, yet busy enough everything is still open.

Yea! For June!!!

Heat... what heat?! Many places in the South are hitting 90-95 degrees by June... and it is not even St. John!

to echo what everyone else has said-- it's definitely a little warmer and a little more humid in June (and the rest of summer) but the good part is:
- the water is warmer too, yay! beach days are more fun when the water is more like a warm tub
- if you're use to the killer summers in the deep south, or in washington d.c. and up the eastern seaboard... you'll find St John in June to be DELIGHTFULLY NOT hot and NOT humid (hehe)
