A couple of questions...

I know these have been answered on this forum a bunch of times, but I guess I am too lazy to go searching . One of my co-workers is going to STT with his family and staying at Frenchman's Reef/Morningstar in Charlotte Amalie. We always rent our vehicle on STJ, so I am unable to answer these questions. They are renting from Avis on STT. Where do they go to get their vehicle? Is there a kiosk at the airport or do they need to leave the terminal? Also can anyone give directions from Frenchman's/Morningstar to the car barge to STJ? They have never been to STT, so any "landmarks" would be appreciated! Thank you for any answers to what I know are redundant questions .
I might be losing it, but my question seems to have disappeared on this forum.

Avis has an office at the BVI ferry dock in Charlotte Amalie, a little ways toward the airport from the downtown STJ Ferry. They should just head back towards Frenchman's, and take a left on 30 at the top of the hill past the cruise ships (instead of straight to Frenchman's). Follow 30 until it t's at 32. Go right on 32 which takes you to Red Hook and the barge.

They will not need to leave the airport to rent a car from Avis - They will also get a map from Avis that will easily detail the trip to Red Hook from the Reef.
[after they leave the Reef there are only 2 turns - both RH turns, to get to Red Hook.]

Thanks for all of your replies

. They are already there, so hopefully they figure out their way to St John. Sounds pretty easy. They may even end up taking the people ferry so they can stay later on STJ. They only have 4 full days there. I might get flamed for this, but I recommended they go to Trunk on a non cruise ship day, especially if they taxi. We don't make it there every trip, but, it is one magnificent beach for first timers and it has facilities. Maho was my second recommendation. Thanks again!
