Hi Everyone!

Let me start off by saying that I have used travelocity and never really had a problem. Maybe a few insignificant flight changes but that's about it.

This trip has been quite the challenge. I booked 5 airline tickets via travelocity and decided to call to inquire about my infant son who will be traveling with us as a "lap" infant.

Should I call each airline? Should I call Travelocity? Well, I decided to call each airline. (USAIR & AMERICAN AIRLINES) As they were confirming my reservation they had different travel times than I had from my Travelocity itinerary.

The best part was when American Airlines told me that I did not have a connecting flight from Miami to Boston and that I needed to call Travelocity.

In this next part I mean no disrespect to anyone...but...have you ever called Travelocity??? I have called and spoke to three different people of which I really couldn't understand anything they said. I kept having to ask them to please repeat what they had said only to end up more confused and ending the call, Yikes!!!

So far my flight has changed 3 times..my infant son is not yet registered for the flight because it does not exist...etc..etc.

Anyone else have this problem? Thanks!

I share your pain of having to deal with Travelocity. The only word that comes to mind when someone mentions Travelocity Customer Service is "nightmare". I rarely say never again, but with them, never again. I find I get better service dealing directly with the airlines and hotels.

Travelocity - booking multiple airlines not a good idea

I had MANY problems with Travelocity once on a Bahamas trip from STL to Treasure Cay, Bahamas. The itin i booked used 2 airlines. It was a nightmare as time neared for departure and flights schedules changed, but apparently each airline was unaware of the full itin, so the scheduling included impossible connections , travelocity told me that one of the airlines "OWNED" the tickets, and to call them, and I spent many hours getting it back in workable order. I will NEVER use travelocity when booking an itin requiring 2 or more airlines!!!!!!!!

OMG...don't even get me started with Travelocity. I could write a book. Short of it is that back last May I booked 2 tickets with Travelocity to fly to STT in February of this year. They changed my itinerary on me FOUR times/actually even changing the dates on which I was to travel. By the fourth time I had had enough; I called them and wanted to talk with this guy's supervisor (I could hardly understand the guy and he could not understand me). He never would let me talk to one; he came back on the phone with only three alternatives to my itinerary, NONE of which suited me so one of them was a full refund of my tickets and I took the refund. That's how mad I was; I was willing to give up my trip to get rid of Travelocity. I will NEVER book with them again. I then proceeded to re-book my trip directly with the airline's website and not once did they make any changes to our trip. Please take heed all and don't work with Travelocity - they will jerk you around.
