Since this is a trip about firsts...

Since this is our first trip to Coral Bay, I am going to try and make this trip about firsts. We will likely skip STJ next year so we can go to Paris instead so in between relaxing I want to do as many new things as possible.
I already have a trip to Vie's on the list, but as you maybe can tell from my posts, we are generally creatures of habit on STJ so there is a ton I haven't done.
I am not a big hiker but if there was an easy hike (and I mean really easy and not long) I would consider it. I am not a big snorkeler so I am not adding any snorkels to the list. We love to eat and drink.

So, if you had to recommend one, out of the ordinary thing, what would it be?

the hike to brwon bay is short and easy -- also the yawzi point trail is REALLY easy and REALLY short--
if you head up towards , (i think) europa point that is easy too.....and the views are amazing.
add a sunset drink at chateau bordeaux if you haven't already--
then wake up for the sunrise since you are on the sunrise side...

I don't know if you've done this or not, but how about visiting Sloop Jones' studio/shop?

You can drive all the way there!

Maho is an easy snorkle, turtles and rays can be spotted if you are lucky. I like Hawksnest, in the center really close to shore there is a large elkhorn forest, although I heard storms ove the past few years have damaged it. Just stick to the perimeter, dont go too far in it can get shallow.

Have you eaten dinner at Sweet Plantains? If not, I would add that to your "to-do" list.

A visit to Josephine's farm could be interesting (and net you some good stuff to eat!).

I am slightly afraid of Sweet Plantain's menu

I forgot about Josephines, she is on the lists of firsts, too!

Don't be afraid of Sweet Plantains. Their ceviche is delicious.

I know many on this forum love Sweet Plantains but we ate there once and won't return. It's just not our taste. Angel's Rest is on our to-do list and a meal at Cafe Concordia.

Spend an afternoon shooting the bull and tossing them back with Larry and Cheryl over at the Tourist Trap (located right before you get to the Salt Pond parking lot).

Drink Right, Drive Left (the house specialty blender drink)
Lobster rolls (kind of a seafood hotdog thing)
Nachos (Tex-Mex Delicacy popular in the Southwestern portion of the US)

And other items that are bad for you, but don't count cuz you're on vacation.

It's good times and they have Rock'em Sock'em Robots. So they got that going for them, which is nice.

Bring cash.
