Restaurant list

I've noticed a lot of different names of restaurants mentioned in different trip reports. It seems like there are more restaurants on St. John that I thought. Does anyone know of a website that lists all of them? I see that the dining guide here only lists a few. We'll be visiting in May and would like to try some new places this time.

Ruth posts seasonal restaurant closings on her website so the list there is pretty comprehensive:

Seems to me that the G Spot/Larry's Landing was permanently closed when I walked past in February . . . unless, of course, they've moved.

Changes in restaurants happen, so any list may be a little out of date... for a general idea and info for compiling your own list to investigate, here are a few more ideas. I know that some of these places have closed, moved, or changed names, and new places have opened. I also know that Anthony has high hopes of updating his list one of these days...

Another source for a list of 91 restaurants and current reviews is:

For Google locations of restaurants, on a map put together by a forum member, sherban:

This site was last updated 15 months ago, but is another good list with links.

http://www.on-stjohn.com/restaurants-and-menus/ has a short list of restaurants and often mentions openings and closings in their blog.

Forum member, Coden, put together a list of cash only restaurants May 2011:
CASH ONLY:
Delli Grotto
Vies
Donkey Diner
Joe's BBQ
Tourist Trap
Baked in the Sun
Quiet Mon
Mojo Café - Soon to be Café Livin'
Larry's Landing
The G Spot (at Larry's Landing)
Shela's Pot Temporarily displaced
Sam and Jacks
IScream
Patricia's (P&P by the Sea)
Candie's

I also recommend Trip Advisor as a "list" of current restaurants. Restaurants down
here, as like anywhere, do come and go. There are restaurants on Trip Advisor that
are no longer in business, but restaurants getting current reviews are still here and
in business. -c
