I am looking at Villa Capiz up on Gift Hill as a possible villa for our next trip and I am looking for any feedback from anyone who has stayed there recently.
Thanks for any help.

You lucky dog!!! Have fun and if you get a chance post a review up of the villa. We are looking for next year, and this villa is #1 on my list.

We have stayed there and, yes, the views are awesome and the location is convenient. Please note that the bedrooms ARE NOT EQUAL and there is only a double bed in the upstairs bedroom with no bath adjacent., it is across the living area. There is no direct access to the upstairs when you are downstairs. You have to come down an external staircase on to the driveway and then enter the bedrooms and if you want to lock the upstairs area you have to exit the front door and walk around the back across the pool deck to get into the bedrooms. Yhe pool was brand new when we were there and very nice. House was nice But the up and down arrangement got old and the only a/c upstairs was in the bedroom. A bit overpriced IMHO.Better houses for the $$$$.

Knolmom is real accurate. We stayed there maybe like, four years ago. A recent view of the pictures, it looks exactly like it looked then. the house has nice views, nice pool, hot tub view is nice. We felt Capiz was a litte dated inside and agree for this price range I would continue my search. And there is a house directly below Capiz, and we could hear them most of the night, that close or that loud, not sure which.

Thanks for the info., sounds like I will keep looking.
We are trying to keep the price around $3,000.00 for the week in June.

Take alook at One Love Villa through Caribbenvillas.com. On my short list since I first saw it. Looks great for the $$ and I am sure they will raise the price next year.

One love is on our list, I wish it had sunset views.
I would like to see some other photos of the villa, especially the evening view. We spend very little time in the villa, and we really like to sit out every evening watching the sun set and enjoying a few cold island drinks. One Love looks very nice, but I am still looking at other villas.

I'm late to respond, and yes, what has been mentioned above about Villa Capiz is all true. However, it's still one of my favorite villa's. We are like you and we spend very little time in the actual villa. Villa Capiz has my favorite pool/deck combo and favorite views of any villa we've stayed in. We spent almost all of our "at home" time outside and the villa was clean and everything worked with strong a/c in the bedrooms. The drive was what I'd call easy and had access to both Cruz and Coral Bay. Just a couple of other things to think about!

Stayed at Villa Capiz several years back before they raised the price. I do think this villa is more in line with the former rate...having said that, we very much enjoyed our stay at the villa. Loved the pool deck and IMO, best view of anywhere we've stayed.
