New Ticker! Plus Lavender Hill question

AA out of Birmingham has some reasonably priced flights to St. Thomas (via Miami) so I finally have a new ticker (yay!).
I've always wanted to stay in Cruz Bay and am considering Lavender Hill. Does anyone have any preferences for which 1 bedroom apartment they would choose?

We have stayed in 2w and enjoyed it. It has the wrap-around deck and good views of the harbor. The sunset view is good, but not as spectacular as the top floor.

Looking at Lavender hill from the road to Cruz Bay (below lavender hill), the units go 1, 2, 3 (bottom to top) on far right of right building (western building closest to Gallows pt), then 4, 5, 6 (bottom to top), then east building goes 7,8,9 bottom to top on the west side (next to pool) and 10, 11,12 on east side (next to Grande bay). The units on the west side of the buildings (1, 2, 3, 7, 8, 9) have wrap around balconies, which is nice. I have never stayed there so can't comment on interiors, but seem to always come close to booking then end up somewhere else.

I love 8E, which has an L shaped bslcony overlooking the pool and the sea. The views are wonderful and so is the outdoor living space.

For Grand Bay check out Tracy's unit - a long time forum member and contributor who answers many, many questions and does not only post when they are trying to recommend their unit as a rental - fantastic unit rented as a 2 bedroom, 1 bedroom or studio.

Thanks, all:
Brian at Lavender Hill was very helpful and we've settled on 5W. Now all we need to do is wait for July. Thank goodness for these forums. How on earth did people plan vacations before the internet?

I will give my 100% backing on 5W. We stay in that unit everytime we go down. We have stayed in the other units also but found 5W to be our favorite.
You made the right decision.
Enjoy your trip!

I hate to let the secret out but Lavander Hill has been my favorite place to stay. I like being close to town.
