Copying this from John Schuld on Facebook - this is a great cause, so please support it if you can!!!
I'll come back and post how many runners Moe passes once the final tally is completed!
-------------------------------------------------
On Saturday, February 25 2012, 1100 participants will compete in the "Sweet 16" St. John 8 Tuff Miles Road Race. Skinny Legs owner Maurice "Moe" Chabuz will start at the back of the pack and once again try to pass as many runners as possible to raise funds and awareness to support TRR's Wounded Veterans USVI Program.
With your pledge of a penny, nickel, dime or dollar for every runner Moe passes (last year he passed 734), TRR will bring wounded veterans to St. John to kayak, snorkel, camp and to heal this coming November.
Please pledge whatever you can NOW - You can reply and pledge right here or send/give your donation directly to Moe (http://skinnylegs.com/Hey-Buddy.htm). We'll also provide online payment options after tomorrow's race. RUN MOE, RUN!
Below is the WVGN Channel 11 TV spot for this year's race & Moe's run:
