Any comments on Survivan?

We are looking for a day sail/snorkel trip for May. Last time we went with Long Distance and loved it. They won't be on island when we are there. We've also been on White Wing and with Capt Phil. We love to snorkel, so that is a focus, (in addition to sailing) and we plan to stay in the USVIs. We like a smaller group - 6-8, preferably. I need plenty of shade too.
I looked at the Survivan web site and read some of the TA reviews. It sounds great. We are staying on Gifft Hill and they pick up at the Westin, so that would be a really quick drive.
Anyone been with Survivan recently?
Thanks

We spent a wonderful day out on the Survivan about a year ago. It is a beautiful boat and Jason and his wife were very hospitable. They also have a very cute puppy aboard. I would not hesitate to recommend them.

My family and I sailed with Jason a few years ago, and it was a great day.

His emphasis is on taking you to the best snorkeling spots around the island.

He had a different "first mate" back then, but I expect that you can look forward to the same outstanding service that we had.

Enjoy your time.

Wonderful crew and boat. Jason and Lou were awesome when we sailed to Jost with them in 2009. We plan to sail with them again in June. They will make you feel right at home on THEIR home (they live on Survivan).

We sailed with Jason last year and it was like sailing with a friend you have known for years.
You have picked the right boat to charter!
